NACE SA516Gr60N HIC steel plate used in KGOC’s project

Last 40 days,638 tons boiler steel ASME sa516gr60n plate under NACE MR0175 Guide have been finished rolled in our mills.These boiler steel plates are ready to export Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (K.S.C) which is the third biggest oil company in Kuwait.Kgoc would use these HIC steel plates to built pressure vessel tanks for oil and gas.Through Kuwait local steel agency,Xinsteel Industrial won this bid on May 2012.


Under Steel standard NACE MR0175,pressure vessel steel plate SA516Gr60N shall be done HIC,SCC and SSC test.HIC is short for Hydrogen-induced cracking test,SCC is short for stress corrosion cracking test,and SSC is for sulfide stress cracking test.When delivery our steel plates,our mill would issue the original mill test certificates which indicate the values of each test when doing these necessary test.
