Pressure vessel steel gradeA517 Grade H,A517GrH steel plate,A517GrH steel sheet is under steel standard specification for high yield strength ASTM A 517/A 517M.A517GrH is alloy steel plate with quenching and tempering heat treatment when rolling.A517 Grade H is a high strength steel plate with the minimum yield strength at 690Mpa for the thickness equal or belows 65mm,and 620 Mpa for the thickness above 65mm,the tensile strength shall be within 795-930 Mpa. The manufacturer may reheat-treat plates that fail to meet the mechanical property requirements of this specification when rolling of high tension steel plate A517GrH.All mechanical property tests shall be repeated whenmaterial is resubmitted for inspection.
