A514 Grade J,A514GrJ

High strength A514 Grade J,A514GrJ,A514GrJ steel plate shall be heat treated by steel mills to conform to the tensile and hardness requirements by heating to not less than 1650 F (900 centigrade),quenching in water or oil and tempering at not less than 1150 F (620 centigrade).The heat treating temperature shall be reported on the mill test certificates. When delivery steel materials ASTM A514Gr.J,steel mill would issued the original mill test certificate,also short as MTC which report the values of main chemical composition,mechanical property,all test result when rolling of steel A514 Grade J.
